GRITS, Girls Raised in the South aka 11th and 12th grade girl's Encounter group, is a fabulous place to find wonderful friends in Christ as you experience some of the toughest and best years of high school. Each week we catch up with each other, share what's going on in our lives and pray for each other. We work hard at growing deeper in our relationship in Christ and have been studying the "Bad Girls of the Bible" series by Liz Higgs. As a group we support each other by attending activities the girls in the group are involved in as well as socializing frequently. We hope to go on another weekend retreat this year where we learned how to practice the art of silence for part of the day. If you want a great group of friends, a wonderful time of sharing and a place to grow as a Christian, GRITS is the place for you!
