Uth Feeders
Calling all Parents
Each Sunday night, the [lit] Youth Worship kicks off with a FREE Snack Supper* and social time for the kids. The meal is prepared and served by a Uth Feeder team of 4-8 adults on a rotating basis (so you’d only have to serve approximately 6 times throughout the school year).
It’s a fun and easy assignment, as well as a good way to meet some of the other parents and kids involved in Youth Group at Alpharetta Methodist.
Here’s how it works:
- Your Uth Feeder Team Leader will send you an email during the week reminding you that your team is serving on Sunday night.
- Rick Leigh, our Uth Feeder Leader, plans the snack supper and purchases the food each week so it’s all there when you arrive on Sunday afternoon.
- Arrive at 5:00 pm at the MYC (Methodist Youth Center) kitchen to help prepare and setup to serve up to 100+ students.
- At 6:00 pm till 6:30, serve food and drink to students.
- At 6:30 pm, students go into chapel to start the service while Uth Feeders clean up from the meal. We’re usually done by 7:00-7:15 pm.
Our job is to welcome the students by feeding them a fun, free meal to prepare them for being fed spiritually as the evening progresses. I hope that you will join us! Please fill out and submit the form below to sign up or if you have any questions.
